Job Summary
District Manager oversees whole goods sales for Komatsu through distributor network across MN, IA, and ND, managing a geographic area with budget/forecast responsibilities, plus travel to support end-use customers and distributors; focus on growth and profitability, market awareness, and collaboration with internal teams on aftermarket, finance, technology, and digital product offerings; requires leadership in sales processes, marketing concepts (SWOT, 4 P’s), and strong relationship management; travel up to 70% and proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, SAP, Salesforce; seeks candidates with a four-year degree in Business/Marketing and 6-8 years in construction industry with distributor/manufacturer background; willingness to travel overnight is required.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree, preferably in Business or Marketing
- Advanced formal education and mechanical/technical aptitude
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in construction industry with a full-line manufacturer or distributor
- Must be willing to travel overnight up to 70% of the time
