Job Summary
District Manager leads district sales and branch operations to achieve revenue, profit, customer experience, and operational goals across the assigned area. Responsibilities include hiring, developing, coaching, and managing direct reports; directing Sales Managers and branch teams; overseeing financial performance (margins, expenses, forecasts, productivity); improving sales and operational processes (quote-to-order workflows, forecasting, pipeline visibility, territory support, sales productivity); optimizing ERP and business systems to enhance efficiency, data quality, reporting, and customer satisfaction; developing programs and service strategies to strengthen customer experience; cross-functional collaboration with leadership and suppliers; ensuring safety and policy compliance; and implementing staffing, policy, and process improvements. Requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; 50% travel expected; primarily office-based.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, operations, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in sales, branch operations, industrial distribution, or related field, including at least 3 years in a management role supervising others
