Job Summary
Lead client retention and account management for the Board of Directors, unit owners, and vendors by building positive relationships and facilitating solutions to operational problems. Monitor portfolio properties for compliance, conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with property managers, and coach them to meet KWPM standards. Oversee cash flow, financial health, and capital improvement recommendations while reviewing delinquencies and collection efforts. Manage procurement for professional services and construction, recruit and develop property manager teams, and process performance evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Perform walk-throughs of properties to identify standard inconsistencies and communicate policy changes. Requires full-time status with up to 60% local and occasional out-of-area travel.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree
- Must possess strong managerial background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, financial statements / audits, blueprints, regulations or documents with a similar degree of complexity
- Must be proficient and have good working understanding of latest technologies; such as but not limited to Office 365
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license
- Must have the ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner
- Must be available to handle emergency calls
- Must be available for evening and weekend work
- Must be available for up to 60% travel
- Must be able to lift objects up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less
- Must possess manual dexterity
- Must possess auditory and visual skills
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Active CAM license
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in Community Association Management
- Possess or secure CAI designation of CMCA or higher within 12 months from engagement by KWPM
