Job Summary
District Manager, Inside Sales leads a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve wine and spirits revenue and sales volume; develops and trains reps to meet goals, conducts strategic negotiations with key accounts, schedules new and serviced accounts, surveys market trends, ensures achievement of quotas, forecasts sales, plans territory activities, and coordinates promotions. The role requires organizing team structure, staffing positions, delivering leadership, and executing sales and promotional activities including nights and weekends. The position emphasizes relationship-building with customers, market analysis for new products, and ongoing communication of supplier information and training during weekly sales meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- current, valid state driver’s license
- ability to lift up to 100 pounds and travel as needed
- 1-2 years of management experience in the adult beverage industry or equivalent
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and order processing systems
