Job Summary
Manage multiple accounts in an assigned territory by performing light, heavy, and laundry worker duties while ensuring staff meet quality standards, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations. Maintain accurate records for income, expenditures, supplies, and personnel; run and review reports, approve payroll issues, and assist with open enrollment processes. Act as the liaison between building Account Managers, Administrators, and HCSG staff, communicating directives effectively and addressing equipment needs or malfunctions promptly. Utilize protective gear and knowledge of safe cleaning solution mixing to ensure infection control and universal precautions policies are followed. Complete hands-on and computer-based training lasting approximately sixteen weeks, with up to 75% of time dedicated to account and facility visits for regional activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must submit to a Motor Vehicle Check
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
- Must be able to work around cleaning products
- Willingness to relocate and live in the assigned market
- Must be able to complete regulatory compliance courses (sanitation and safety)
- Must be able to identify issues and implement necessary changes
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
- Consistent attendance and punctual arrival
- Must be able to lead training, quality control procedures, and in-servicing of housekeeping staff
- Able to perform the job assignments of the light housekeeper, heavy housekeeper, laundry worker, and personal clothing worker
- Knowledgeable in training safe and proper mixing and cleaning solutions
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
- Follow proper reporting, isolation, and handwashing procedures/techniques
- Ensure that established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met
- Address equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions in a timely fashion
- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
- Act as liaison between building Account Manager, Administrators, and HCSG staff
- Communicates all directives effectively to managers from administrators and HCSG operational leadership
- Maintains accurate income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment records
- Runs and reviews reports
- Approves payroll issues
- Reviews Employee Warning Notices
- Assists/participates in the open enrollment process by providing information and collecting applications and waivers as necessary
- Provides leadership, support, and guidance to ensure staff meets Environmental Services quality standards
- Ensures staff meets inventory levels
- Ensures staff meets safety guidelines
- Ensures staff meets customer service expectations
- Weekly building tours with Account Manager to assess work quality using QCIs for documentation purposes
- Manage multiple accounts in an assigned territory according to policies and procedures and federal/state requirements
