Job Summary
District Manager in Training at Dollar Tree responsible for overseeing operations of multiple stores within a district, developing store leaders, analyzing district sales trends to drive sales, maintaining inventory and merchandising presentation, partnering with store managers to recruit and train new associates, fostering associate growth into leadership roles, managing payroll hours, ensuring cash control and store audits, monitoring shrinkage, delivering exceptional customer service, building meaningful relationships with associates and communities, and traveling up to 50% across the district to support store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership and supervisory experience are required
- Experience with merchandising is required
- Previous recruiting experience is required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
