District Manager

Job Summary
Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Store Managers and their teams across the district while monitoring key business metrics including sales, P&L, labor, and inventory. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled store visits, inventory counts, and hands-on operational assistance to ensure compliance and address customer concerns promptly. Partner with Store Managers to develop leadership skills, establish priorities, and identify opportunities to improve processes and drive results. Travel regularly throughout the assigned market to evaluate store operations and serve as a point of escalation for issues. Manage multiple locations with a focus on building strong teams and achieving operational and financial goals.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive company or customer vehicles as required
- 4+ years of experience in the tire and/or automotive service industry, with demonstrated leadership or management experience
- Strong understanding of retail and automotive service operations, including sales, customer service, staffing, inventory, labor, and shop workflow
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop managers and teams
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and act on P&L, sales, labor, inventory, payroll, and other key performance metrics
- Ability to analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions that drive results
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to coach teams on creating exceptional customer experiences
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple locations and competing priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned market
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Store Manager, Service Center Manager, District Manager, or similar automotive leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in business management, automotive technology, or a related field
