Job Summary
Manage a limited portfolio of assets and individuals, overseeing the overall operations and financial position of assigned properties. Directly supervise Site and Property Managers, handling their training, performance management, and communication while establishing relationships with housing authorities and agencies. Conduct property inspections, analyze expenses for cost reduction, and ensure all staff adhere to Fitch Irick standards and budgeted financial goals. Participate in hiring, firing, and HR matters, maintaining accurate timecards and resolving deficiencies within legal timeframes. This role requires 85% travel with frequent overnight stays and a valid driver's license. Based in Charlotte, NC, Fitch Irick manages 12,000+ units across 250 properties in the southeastern United States.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of housing experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to be exposed to the elements
- Ability to lift, pull, push, bend (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to walk across a multitude of surfaces
- Exposure to basic household chemicals with occasional need for PPE due to construction chemicals or higher-level chemicals being used
