District Manager – North Central leads ISSI’s district operations across Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, southern Minnesota, and Missouri, championing ISSI’s Christian Family Values and commitment to superior customer service. The role works shoulder-to-shoulder with Account Executives, Operations Managers, suppliers, and customers to drive revenue, gross margin, and district operational health across multiple branches. Travel to field locations is required (5+ nights/month). The position emphasizes field leadership rather than office-based management. Preferred education is a Bachelor's degree; alternative is 10+ years of applicable industry experience. Must be able to travel across the district and spend significant time at branch locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 10+ years of industry experience in mining, aggregate, conveying, or industrial supply

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to foster a collaborative, transparent, and inclusive work environment
  • Experience supporting or implementing sales processes, forecasting tools, and strategic account planning

  • Comfortable working in the field, conducting joint customer visits, and spending regular time at branch locations
  • Strong operational understanding, including warehouse workflows, customer service, and product application
  • High level of integrity, humility, and professionalism; leads by example
  • Systems-minded with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements

  • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities across a wide geographic territory
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, southern Minnesota, and Missouri (approximately 5+ nights/month)
  • Adaptable, eager to learn ISSI’s culture, processes, and tools, and able to onboard quickly
  • Confident presenter able to deliver clear, persuasive communication to internal teams and external customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations, make decisions, and follow through effectively
