Job Summary
District Manager at Extra Space Storage overseeing a district of multiple self-storage stores; responsibilities include managing rental rates and discounts, protecting revenue streams, coordinating semi-annual audits, monitoring controllable expenses to optimize ROI, analyzing financial reports and P&L, coordinating district-wide initiatives with HR, procurement, finance, and marketing, and developing talent across stores. Lead with a focus on customer experience, team development, and execution of district-level strategies to grow store performance and market share. Requires 3+ years of multi-unit operations experience and leadership in hiring and retaining top talent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-unit operations experience in one or more of: retail, restaurant, hotel, leasing, rental, or other customer service operation with responsibility for operating 10+ stores
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Leadership for hiring, developing, and retaining top talent to deliver legendary customer experiences
