Job Summary
Directly supervise two or more full-time employees, including Assistant Managers and Customer Service Representatives, by recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling staff to maximize customer service. Manage store operations by ensuring the location remains clean, stocked, and organized while developing positive relationships with suppliers and resolving customer complaints. Analyze daily sales and expense data to maximize net profits, budget P&L lines, and safeguard all cash and inventory. Prepare performance appraisals in Workday, including 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins, and train employees on safety procedures, cash awareness, and company standards. Work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including weekends and holidays, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and physical lifting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to work alone
- Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week
- Ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist
- Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands
- Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead for objects
- Ability to bend and twist at waist
- Ability to communicate orally
- Ability to operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard
- Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
- Ability to work in the conditions described below
- Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described above
- Ability to have open availability
Desired Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of retail work experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training and work experience
- Food Server certificate (e.g. ServSafe)
- Food Safety Management certification
