Job Summary
Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing field sales team while creating and driving district strategy to achieve business goals. Work in the field to coach representatives on product knowledge and skills, monitor data analytics for resource utilization, and ensure call plan adherence. Drive call plan execution and guarantee the geography meets or exceeds targets by assessing competitive threats and implementing appropriate actions. Organize employee training, conferences, and meetings, then communicate regularly with key leadership to update on performance and build relationships. Lead the district with a focus on work ethic, culture, and business ethics, adapting best practices across the nation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University
- Valid Driver's License
- Computer/iPad proficient
- Ability to influence team member activities
- 5 years of management experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Healthcare Industry
- Ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-quality team
- A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Lead a team and reinforce strong account management skills
- Must consistently demonstrate sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to analyze and draw appropriate conclusions using call reporting data
- Professional, proactive demeanor
- Ability to interpret and utilize business data to drive positive business results
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build business relationships
- Results-driven with exceptional attention-to-detail
- Knowledge around metrics
- Overnight travel
- Background check completion
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of management experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Healthcare Industry is preferred with proven ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on set objectives
- Product launch experience preferred
