Job Summary

Lead and manage a team of Sales Representatives to execute business plans, achieve volume goals, and expand product distribution across the Annapolis and Howard County district. Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to drive results and develop talent. Build strong relationships with key accounts, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while identifying new sales opportunities and managing supplier visits. Monitor sales performance using KPIs and analytics to create action plans for underperforming areas. Plan and execute district-wide sales programs, promotions, and initiatives while resolving customer complaints and managing territory transitions. Approve timesheets and ensure accurate submission of payroll-related data, including incentives and commissions. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and the three-tier distribution system. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of sales experience, valid driver's license, and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Must meet company vehicle safety requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or related field
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of the three-tier distribution system
  • Proven ability to lead sales teams and exceed sales and distribution goals
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/sales tracking systems

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the beverage alcohol industry (beer, wine, and spirits)
