Job Summary
District Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding service goals across a district of routes, potentially managing a service center if the district has more than 7 routes. Responsibilities include developing and motivating a productive district team through training and regular meetings, maintaining outstanding customer service through visits, audits, and problem-solving, ensuring policy and safety compliance, driving route growth through new customer acquisition and upsell/cross-sell, coordinating with other departments, supervising route organization, and performing general route duties including driving a delivery vehicle. Senior DM duties include overseeing the service center, managing inventory, and handling deposits and paperwork. Requires a valid driver’s license, 21+ years, strong customer service and route sales skills, clear English communication, time management, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduation or similar experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations
- Must be 21 years or older
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
- Demonstrate excellent skills in customer service and route sales
- Recognize colors, sizes and types of product and count, add and subtract accurately
