Job Summary
District Manager is responsible for meeting/exceeding service goals across a district of routes, including leading a productive team, training, regular meetings, customer visits and problem solving, and coordinating with other departments. Responsibilities include developing and motivating the district, maintaining customer loyalty and high service standards, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety procedures, driving retention and growth through new customer solicitation and upsell/cross-sell across service lines, overseeing route organization, transporting/delivering as needed, and supporting a service center when applicable; Senior DM duties add service center oversight, inventory management, deposits/paperwork, and cross-functional communication. Strong emphasis on customer service, effective communication, route/sales skills, and ensuring safe operation of delivery vehicles. Benefits are described as part of full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License, keep a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations, and must be 21 years or older
- Demonstrate excellent skills in customer service and route sales
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English, comprehend and follow direction and good time management skills and team player
- Recognize colors, sizes and types of product and count, add and subtract accurately
