Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (ideally 5+ years in a relevant field)
• A demonstrated history of advancing sustainable sales success and profitable growth
• A proven history of increasing responsibility in a business-to-business sales-related or sales operations position
• Experience mentoring a team and stewardship of a P&L (or comparable experience within the distribution industry involving gases and welding supplies)
• A proactive approach to leadership, with a history of supporting and mentoring teams for at least 5 years
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building alignment and staying organized
• Comfortable with Microsoft solutions, particularly Excel and Word, and experienced in data entry and order extraction
• Numerical proficiency for practical business applications and analytical reporting
• Resilience and adaptability to work independently and maintain focus in a dynamic environment
• The ability to foster understanding while interacting with diverse teams and personalities
• A valid driver’s license and an insured personal vehicle
• Comfortable working in a drug-free environment
• Flexibility to adjust your schedule to meet the needs of our customers and the management team

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in industrial gases and/or welding supplies
• Sales team management experience
• Public speaking capabilities
• SAP experience preferred
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Experience mentoring teams and managing a P&L
• Proven history of sustainable sales growth and profitable expansion
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and personalities
