Job Summary
The District Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the functionality and appearance of fitness equipment and facilities. Key responsibilities include performing club walk-throughs, managing internal work order systems, repairing fitness and spa equipment, overseeing vendor work, and ensuring safety and maintenance standards are met. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, knowledge in various maintenance fields, and entails physical demands including lifting substantial weight. Professional development and training of maintenance technicians are also part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years minimum experience in building maintenance or retail maintenance required
- Ability to communicate effectively and use office equipment including a computer
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry in excess of 100 lbs
- Continual standing and walking during shift
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance or retail maintenance
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
