District Maint/Grounds Technician

Job Summary
Maintains and services district facilities and grounds to ensure buildings, grounds, and equipment are clean, safe, and functioning for students and staff. Performs maintenance tasks including troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; repairs building components; maintains equipment; performs basic welding, painting, and carpentry; processes work orders in Incident IQ; trains and supports maintenance and custodial staff; coordinates supply orders with SDS procedures; supports grounds projects (weed control, trimming, irrigation) and light outdoor equipment operation; assists with snow removal and event setup; communicates repair methods and costs to leadership; emphasizes safety, policy compliance, and professional interaction with students, staff, and the public.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in facility maintenance; experience in the trades preferred
- Valid AZ Driver’s License
- Criminal justice/fingerprint clearance
- Ability to use Google Suite for email and work order systems (Incident IQ)
