Job Summary
The District Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for effective shrinkage control and enhancing safety practices across approximately 18-20 store locations. Key responsibilities include investigating asset losses and safety incidents, training associates on asset protection, conducting security checks, and managing inventory movement. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate safety protocols effectively. Candidates should have a high school diploma, three years of retail loss prevention experience, and preferred qualifications in criminal justice or investigation certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of three years of experience in loss prevention in a retail service-oriented business
Desired Qualifications
- Higher education related to criminal justice preferred
- Prior interviewing/investigation certification such as WZ or Reid
Additional Requirements
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid state issued license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
