Job Summary
District Loss Prevention Manager oversees shrinkage control and safety across 18-20 Ollie’s store locations in MD, PA, and DE; investigates asset losses, conducts safety inspections, trains associates in Asset Protection, recommends shortage-control improvements, coaches Team Leaders and Associates, conducts operational risk assessments, and uses Secure Store software to identify policy violations and fraud; travels within district with some overnight travel; collaborates with District Team Leaders to ensure smooth operations; requires high school diploma or equivalent with preferred criminal justice-related higher education and at least three years in retail loss prevention; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Higher education related to criminal justice preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in loss prevention in a retail service-oriented business
- Ability to exercise sound judgment
- Efficient planning, prioritization and implementation of detailed instructions
- Ability to learn and communicate new information and processes
- Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills
- Prior interviewing/investigation certification such as WZ or Reid
- Physical ability to travel within assigned district, some overnight travel required; stand for extended periods; operate a motor vehicle; lift 50 lbs; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
