Job Summary
The District Leader in Training is responsible for developing leadership skills necessary to successfully manage store operations, enhance financial performance, and achieve sales goals. Responsibilities include overseeing store compliance with operating procedures, conducting audits to control inventory losses, collaborating with marketing for promotional activities, and coaching store leadership to provide excellent customer service. Must hold management accountable for labor and expense budgets while engaging in community relations to maintain brand reputation. A strong emphasis is placed on effective communication, employee development, and executing strategic goals aligned with the company's objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Must maintain a current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Current ServSafe Certification
- Successful completion of age restricted alcohol and tobacco sales training
- Successful completion of UST Training
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years multi-unit retail experience, convenience store experience preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of store management experience within Parker’s
Additional Requirements
- District Leaders in Training must be able to work varied hours, days, and shifts as needed by the employer due to business circumstances.
