Job Summary
Itinerant LBD/Special Education Teacher for middle grades responsible for ensuring access to and progress in the general curriculum for students with disabilities. Provides direct services to multiple schools to support inclusion, designs and implements professional development for emergency and probationary certified special education teachers, facilitates curriculum modifications in both special and regular education settings, evaluates modifications across classrooms, trains teachers in collaborative practices, and monitors placement and inclusion of students with disabilities. Maintains familiarity with current research, adheres to ethical standards, and uses technology to support daily tasks. The position is funded for the 2026/2027 school year and requires a valid Kentucky teaching certificate with endorsements.
