Job Summary
District Instructional Coach provides direct support to K-12 staff in curriculum and instructional practices; guides teachers to analyze data and develop action plans; models and facilitates integration of reading skills/strategies/technology; provides professional learning and coaching to K-12 teachers; assists in planning, sequencing, and scaffolding instruction; supports district initiatives and participates in district leadership and teaching/learning teams; maintains confidentiality of students and staff; conducts classroom observations and provides feedback to promote reflective practice; performs other duties per the superintendent or designee.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky teaching certification for elementary and/or middle school
- A minimum of three (3) years successful classroom teaching experience
