District Field Technician (Mechanic)

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts using advanced diagnostic tools and real-time data. Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking service intervals and ordering parts through the proprietary T3 platform. Perform maintenance on construction machinery and assist in training lower-level technicians, ensuring all work is documented electronically and paperwork remains complete. Travel to customer job sites for repairs when required and assist with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery. Maintain service vehicles in a clean, professional manner and practice safe job protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be clean shaven in order to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
