Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned heavy equipment using real-time data from the T3 platform. Utilize laptops and tablets to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and order parts while maintaining accurate electronic documentation daily. Assist in training lower-level technicians, manage equipment pick-up and delivery, and travel to customer job sites for maintenance when required. Practice safe job procedures and adhere to OSHA standards while using independent judgment on a variety of makes and models.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to travel weekly to support business needs
- High School diploma
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be clean shaven in order to enter worksites for EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school certificate
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
