District Customer Service Coordinator - Medical Equipment

Job Summary
Oversees delivery and pickup of medical equipment, supervises delivery staff, and manages equipment inventory, supplies, and fleet. Partners with district management to ensure customer retention and serves as the subject matter expert in equipment processing, inspection, and in-servicing. Provides training, supports daily office functions (record keeping and billing), and ensures compliance with patient privacy laws. Requires flexible hours, including on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may require DOT certification. Must be able to stand long periods, walk long distances, and lift up to 75 pounds. Strong communication, team orientation, and proactive safety and quality mindset are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of supervision/management or customer excellence experience preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare industry or hospital medical equipment preferred
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Valid driver’s license; potential for DOT certification
- Able to stand for long periods and lift 75 pounds
- Flexible hours including on call, evenings, weekends, and holidays
