Job Summary
Maintain a clean, safe school building by dusting, mopping hard surfaces, stripping and waxing floors, and performing wet carpet extraction. Clean restrooms, wash windows, remove trash up to 50 lbs, and sweep exterior entrances daily. Test plumbing fixtures, emergency lights, and fire/electrical safety monthly; change HVAC filters and light bulbs as scheduled. Perform minor maintenance including painting, changing ballasts, repairing ceiling tiles, and installing fixtures. Execute snow removal with a blower and shovel, apply winter chemicals, and clean flower beds. Submit work orders for out-of-scope building needs. Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays for emergencies. Valid driver's license and residence phone required. High school diploma and five years of building maintenance experience preferred.
