Oversee and train cooks in each school within the district, ensuring proper cooking procedures and food presentation. Create different menu items while adhering to school food service guidelines and the National School Lunch Program. Manage daily operations including placing food orders, conducting monthly inventory, and utilizing personal protective equipment. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment across the Somerset County, NJ school district. Travel with the district as needed for catering events, which may include occasional nights and weekends.
