Job Summary
Provide support services in the District Attorney’s Office, including answering phones, interacting with the public and law enforcement, organizing felony case files, generating criminal histories via DCI and CJLeads, requesting incident reports and discovery, and assisting in case preparation. Must communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, maintain professional relationships with law enforcement and the public, stay calm under pressure, and be proficient with cloud-based tools. Knowledge of court procedures, legal terminology, and resources for victims/witnesses; skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; familiarity with Enterprise Justice/Odyssey, eWarrants, eDiscovery, and Axon; ability to type 45 wpm; ability to interview victims/witnesses and coordinate daily operations of the victim and witness program; manage court appearances and ensure victim/witness presence in court; strong written and oral communication, and collaborative work with related agencies. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or high school equivalency certificate
- two (2) years of legal secretarial experience
