Distributor Truck Operator (CDL Required)

Operate an asphalt distributor truck to lay down tack in front of or with asphalt paving operations. Responsibilities include operating a distributor truck on an asphalt lay down crew, performing pre-trip inspections, and laying down the required amount of tack with the truck spreader bar or handheld tack wand as needed. May perform other duties or operate other paving equipment. Must have a CDL Class B/Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and a valid medical card; one year of experience is required but training is provided. Able to abide by safety rules and company policies; willingness to work long hours in elevated temperatures and to meet shift goals. Visual attention to safety in traffic and surroundings is essential.
