Job Summary
Distributor Sales Manager role leading a Distribution Sales team for Stanley Access Technologies (a division of Allegion). Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring Distribution Relationship Managers, driving on-site leadership and field support, co-selling with distributor partners, guiding strategic pricing and forecasting, and growing distributor accounts. Key focus areas are developing a high-performing team, enhancing employee engagement, managing escalations, and enabling revenue growth through new distributor onboarding, product launches, and market insights. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 3–6 years in distribution/logistics/supply chain and hands-on supervisory experience; strong knowledge of trucking/transportation management, import/export considerations, ERP/WMS systems, and a customer-focused, results-oriented mindset. Ability to travel with the team to distributor meetings and lead cross-functional collaboration to maximize revenue and margins. Additional compensation details include a base salary range of $100k–$150k and eligibility for bonus/SIP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred (equivalent experience acceptable)
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, with supervisory, coaching, or team leadership experience
- Practical knowledge of trucking, transportation management, and freight optimization
- Familiarity with import/export requirements and company security practices (C-TPAT) preferred
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and deliver measurable cost or service gains through team empowerment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; highly customer-focused and results-oriented
