Job Summary
Distributor Performance Specialist role focusing on monitoring, driving and improving Abbott’s distributor network performance within Infectious Diseases. Responsible for performance management, distributor development, and execution of commercial action plans in collaboration with Sales, Key Account Management and Marketing. Responsibilities include monitoring distributor sales against targets and KPIs, defining and following up on performance improvement plans, onboarding and developing new distributors, coordinating activities with internal teams, and ensuring execution of Abbott commercial strategies and product launches. Requires strong commercial and analytical skills, ability to work autonomously in a matrix organization, proficiency with CRM tools, and travel up to 50%. Proficiency in English is required.
Required Qualifications
- Higher education in business, life sciences, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales, channel management or distributor performance roles within the healthcare, diagnostics or medical devices industry
- Demonstrated experience working with indirect sales models and distributor networks
- Experience in diagnostics, infectious diseases or point-of-care testing is an asset
- Ability to travel (40% of the time)
