Job Summary
Prioritize safety while performing welding and duties for the operation, maintenance, and construction of gas distribution systems. Respond to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, and after-hour calls. Obtain pipeline welding, plastic fusion, and SCBA certifications, and maintain a valid commercial motor vehicle driver's license for interstate travel. Acquire Crane Operators Certification and complete the applicable Apprenticeship Training Program. Ensure all measures protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attacks. Journeyman wage is $52.74; application deadline is September 1, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- High school education
- welding experience
- ability to operate gas construction equipment
- ability to obtain pipeline welding certification
- ability to obtain plastic fusion certification
- ability to obtain SCBA certifications
- strong mechanical aptitude
- troubleshooting abilities
- valid commercial motor vehicle driver's license appropriate for the position
- age 21 or older to acquire a CDL valid for interstate travel
- valid Crane Operators Certification
- ability to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

- legal authorization to work in the United States
