Job Summary
Join Dixon Ticonderoga Company as a Distribution General Help, responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment by picking, processing, and building pallets for shipment. Operate material handling equipment, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and meet productivity standards with at least 95% accuracy. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior distribution experience is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and have strong basic math skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed (including some weekends).
- Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts, including some Saturdays.
- Strong basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and averages.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering information into computer systems.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior forklift and/or lift equipment experience preferred; certification is a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office applications, and warehouse management systems.
