Job Summary
Oversee all Warehouse Associates and Supervisors, managing inbound, outbound, and inventory processes to ensure optimal performance. Monitor warehouse activities and KPIs, resolve issues timely, and schedule staff based on daily operational needs. Coordinate shipments, review management reports, and address variances in transfer and shipping data. Maintain facility cleanliness, manage equipment maintenance, and ensure health and safety guidelines are followed. Certify new employees on forklift equipment and train staff on standardized work processes. Engage with HR regarding personnel concerns and collaborate with the Operations Manager on budgeting and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution environment
- 5+ years ERP/WMS experience
- 3-5 years inventory management experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in warehouse process and procedures
- Proven ability to identify problems quickly and implement appropriate solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A sense of urgency
- Keen attention to detail
- Effective ability to adjust to differing personalities
- Expert ability to build positive relationships within a diverse team
Desired Qualifications
- An associate degree
- 3+ years forklift experience preferred
