Job Summary
Distribution Warehouse Manager leads Warehouse Associates and Supervisors in a full-time distribution center environment, overseeing inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, and KPI performance. Responsibilities include optimizing warehouse operations, coordinating staffing and scheduling, monitoring metrics, ensuring health and safety compliance, training and developing staff, maintaining equipment and facility conditions, coordinating shipments, and collaborating with the Operations Manager on budgets and strategic plans. Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems, ADP, and warehouse equipment (forklifts, RF units, pallet jacks) is required, along with strong communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to timely issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution environment
- 5+ years ERP/WMS experience
- 3-5 years inventory management experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in warehouse process and procedures
- Proven ability to identify problems quickly and implement appropriate solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A sense of urgency
- Keen attention to detail
- Effective ability to adjust to differing personalities
- Expert ability to build positive relationships within a diverse team
