Job Summary
Conduct manual tasks for underground power line construction and maintenance, including digging trenches, backfilling, and assisting with conduit installation and cable pulling. Set up and maintain safe job sites through traffic control and flagging, while organizing tools and materials on service vehicles. Clean and restore job sites upon completion and hoist tools using handlines as needed. Participate in training for trucks, light equipment, and specialized tools, and complete required safety and first aid courses. Follow all company safety protocols and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, with frequent travel to various job sites and occasional overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel long distances on short notice
- Willingness to work extended periods in various locations
- Available to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather
- Willingness and ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends
- Basic understanding of utility operations and underground power distribution systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Safety awareness
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, climb, stoop, stand, and lift for extended periods

- Ability to wear and operate all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must pass drug screening, alcohol test, background check, clearinghouse, and MVR check
