Job Summary
Distribution Associate Trainer (Contract) in Goods-In, Distro responsible for onboarding and developing new hires in a high-volume, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities include welcoming and orienting new hires, hands-on training to ensure confidence with production, enforcing quality standards and room expectations, fostering a positive and supportive training culture, applying SOPs, monitoring quality measures, collaborating with room leadership, and performing distribution duties as needed (picking/packing, labeling, and handling physically demanding tasks). Emphasizes coaching, feedback, and talent growth aligned with Lush leadership practices; requires ability to work mornings, afternoons, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Current Lush employee
- Experience as a Distribution Trainer (seasonal) preferred
- Excellent coaching and feedback skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
- Comfortable reading, writing and speaking English
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for 8-hour shifts
- Experience with health and safety standards and GMP
- Ability to train and onboard new hires effectively
- Proactive, patient, and supportive demeanor
- Ability to use SOPs and follow quality processes
- Proficiency with basic mathematics and inventory tasks
- Ability to collaborate with room leadership
