Job Summary
Conduct outgoing shipment picking using printed slips or scan guns, stage orders, and load pallets while maintaining strict accuracy. Operate forklifts and stand-up reach trucks to unload incoming trailers and transfer materials to storage areas. Perform cycle counts on finished product, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and maintain an organized, clean warehouse environment. Complete all required documentation, including safety and food safety system records, and report any unsafe conditions or deviations to the supervisor. Adhere to GMP standards and participate in mandatory safety and quality training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform counts using basic arithmetic skills
- Demonstrate forklift/stand up reach truck operation skills
- Scan gun proficient
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs consistently throughout shift
- Tolerance for both hot and cold environment
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Communicate well verbally and in writing using the English language
