Job Summary
Oversee daily distribution operations, including supervising employees, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating carrier pick-ups. Provide direction on quality parameters, coach staff on performance, and manage attendance reporting. Handle incident reporting protocols, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts to maintain productivity. Act as the primary department contact when the manager is unavailable. Work the 2nd shift in full-time capacity, with flexibility for off-shifts or overtime. Requires physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and walk the 530,000-square-foot campus.
Required Qualifications
- 100 % of the time, must be able to bend, carry, lift, push, pull, reach, stand for prolonged periods of time, walk, and lift +/- 75 lbs.
- Must be able to walk throughout Senco's manufacturing campus, up to 530,000 square feet.
- Must be able to work off shifts and/or overtime when assigned, sometimes on short notice.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accurate record keeping.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in the department is preferred.
- A high School Degree/GED is preferred.
- Preferred to have supervisory or management experience within a distribution department or related operation
- Past job performance must have demonstrated a high degree of planning and organizing skills, human relations skills, and leadership ability.
