Distribution Supervisor -Weekend Shift

Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate weekend distribution operations at the Brampton Distribution Center, supervise warehouse staff, ensure HACCP and safety compliance, and manage loading/unloading of transport trucks. Act as a super user of the warehouse management system (WMS), drive process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency, maintain stock integrity and cleanliness, ensure proper stock rotation, and document HACCP-related items. Requires leadership, training, performance evaluation, and the ability to adapt to flexible shift patterns and weekend requirements. Strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, and collaboration with the Warehouse Manager to optimize operations.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education and/or minimum five (5) years’ relevant work experience in a lead hand or supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Solid experience and working knowledge of an automated Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including written and verbal
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to work well with and through others
- Computer skills – experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the job
