Distribution Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee safety, quality, and productivity of warehouse distribution operations by reviewing loading and receiving processes to minimize errors. Manage receiving, put-a-way, replenishment, picking, loading, and housekeeping while organizing and tagging stored products. Maintain superior housekeeping standards and enforce EHS policies, conducting daily equipment reviews for forklifts and industrial machines. Coach, mentor, and train coworkers to achieve established goals while organizing shift and workforce scheduling. Master all business systems to provide leadership with recommendations for operational improvements. This role requires a high school diploma with a bachelor's degree preferred, located in Atlanta, offering healthcare benefits, 401k, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience
- 3-5 years of related job experience
- Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Bachelor's Degree
- Regularly working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse where exposure to cold, heat, damp or humid conditions may occur
- Exposure to loud noise
- Exposure to dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, and moving vehicles
- Ability to lift, twist and carry up 50 - 75 pounds
- Manipulate (push and pull) up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment and skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds utilizing pallet jack
- Walk throughout the warehouse to complete customer orders
- Stand when operating order picker or reach truck equipment and when operating cutter
- Sit only when driving sit-down material handling equipment
- Lift items weighing a few ounces up to 150 pounds with assistance
- Stoop when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations
- Kneel when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations
