Job Summary
Directly supervise distribution employees in assigned value streams, managing performance, attendance, mentoring, and discipline. Lead daily distribution activities to ensure commitments are met while driving continuous improvement through lean methodology and waste elimination. Move throughout the plant facilitating work teams, problem-solving, and communication with employees and management. Establish effective internal and external relationships, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and support safety programs. Requires 3+ years of distribution experience, Bachelor's degree preferred, and proficiency in ERP systems and Lean concepts. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
- 3+ years of distribution experience
- receiving and shipping leadership experience
- Experienced with ERP systems
- understanding of SQDCC
- Demonstrated understanding of Lean Distribution concepts
- Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods
- flexibility and adaptability to accept, support, and deploy new processes in a changing business environment
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Conflict resolution includes the ability to address differences of opinions or facts and use the most appropriate method to reach an effective solution
- Effective communication at both technical and leadership levels

- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Windows, and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications
- Academic background with Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science preferred
- Ideally 3+ years of distribution experience
