Job Summary
Distribution Supervisor overseeing front-line delivery/warehouse operations under the Delivery Manager; leads loadout personnel, manages daily receiving, storing, and shipping, and ensures safety compliance with DOT/OSHA standards. Responsible for KPIs, productivity, and process improvements using data analytics and systems (TMS/Jalapeno). Mentors and coaches front-line staff, coordinates carrier shipments, optimizes routes, and collaborates across departments to ensure on-time delivery. Requires leadership experience in warehouse/logistics, familiarity with regulatory requirements, ability to train others, and a safety-first approach.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulatory requirements
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, delegate, and manage time efficiently
- Experience training others to new processes or procedural updates
- Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities
