Distribution Supervisor (Evening Shift)

Job Summary
Oversee daily activities for multiple shipping and distribution teams, ensuring compliance with GMPs, HACCP policies, and regulatory guidelines while maintaining safety culture. Develop and implement plans to meet key performance indicators, manage team schedules, and coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality Assurance. Conduct routine safety audits, review metrics for efficiency improvements, and resolve issues related to accidents or employee complaints. Manage inventory counts, cooler cleanouts, and product rotation to ensure timely shipments. Participate in department meetings and oversee investigations to maintain documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Firm knowledge in Shipping/Storage/Warehousing HACCP and/or USDA policies
- Proficient in safety best practices, policies, and standards
- Solid leadership skills with the ability to coach, guide, support, and motivate a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled at data review, critical thinking, and problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective computer skills with the ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Advanced time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work varying shift hours
- Ability to occasionally climb and lift up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment (PPE) in a manufacturing environment
