Job Summary
Distribution Specialist within the Tacoma General Hospital supply chain team: verify materials and receipts against purchase orders, coordinate with Purchasing to resolve PO/receipt discrepancies, package and process supplies returned to vendors or other facilities and coordinate shipping, and stock supplies in the designated Distribution Storeroom. Requires high school graduate or equivalent and experience in receiving, distribution, warehousing, storekeeping, or hospital Central Service/inventory control; proficiency with basic PC applications (Word, Excel), computer input, and familiarity with electronic signature software and computerized Materials Management systems. Salary range $23.02-$35.00 hourly (annualized to $47,882-$72,800). This is a per diem, part-time role at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA within the MultiCare system, featuring a supportive benefits package and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution of products, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service or Inventory Control preferred
- Computer input/keyboard experience desired
- Computerized Materials Management system experience preferred
- Basic experience in PC business applications including MS Word and Excel
- Experience in using an electronic signature software preferred
