Job Summary
Distribution Specialist operates a 15-20 ft Food Bank vehicle to provide direct-to-client distributions as part of the Produce on Wheels (POW) program, supports day-to-day POW activities, site setup, volunteer coordination, and data entry/reporting in FBNN software. Responsibilities include facilitating distribution operations, coordinating monthly mobile distributions, maintaining program records, ensuring food safety compliance, training volunteers, and communicating program updates to neighbors and stakeholders. Requires driving in diverse environments, ability to push/pull heavy pallets, lift up to 50 lbs, data entry, and strong customer service. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years in logistics, forklift certification within 3 months, Serve Safe certification within 3 months, and willingness to travel within Northern Nevada and Northern California. Travel, field presence, and collaboration with staff, partners, and volunteers are integral to the role.
Required Qualifications
