Job Summary
Distribution Specialist responsibilities include verifying materials and receipts against purchase orders, coordinating with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies, packaging and processing returned supplies, and stocking stores with designated Distribution Storeroom materials. Requires experience with receiving/warehousing, familiarity with purchase orders, and basic MS Word/Excel skills; electronic signature software experience preferred. Position is per diem/part-time with a focus on accurate distribution operations within Tacoma General Hospital’s supply chain.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution of products, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service or Inventory Control preferred
