Distribution Specialist, Inventory M - F 7 - 3:30 pm w/rotating weekends (6077)

Inventory, stock, and maintain established par inventory locations throughout the hospital in accordance with current policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Accurately count par supply locations, identify stock outs, backorders, and shortages, and resolve them quickly while cycle counting daily to minimize interruptions. Analyze inventory trends to recommend par level changes during spikes and clean automated dispensing cabinets monthly. Organize documentation, logs, and records; act as a liaison with hospital staff and vendors regarding product changes and backorders. Utilize the Material Management Information System for special purchase orders and provide daily stock transfer and patient charge information to ensure data integrity. Answer phones and respond to customer pages courteously, assist with product conversions and recalls, and maintain safety and security procedures. Share responsibilities and provide coverage for relief and absences as required.
