Job Summary
Operate powered industrial equipment to pick customer orders for shipment on the 2nd shift, ensuring correct quantity and type of product is selected from the correct location. Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements, complete daily checklists, report any inconsistencies, conduct accurate location counts, and maintain 95%+ productivity while keeping a clean work area and complying with OSHA safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in operation of a Powered Industrial Truck and/or pallet jack according to operating standards
- Must follow all safety guidelines for safe operations of PIT and wear proper PPE while driving PIT
- Complete daily operational checklist
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment with correct quantity and location
- Report picking/rewarehouse inconsistencies to supervisor
- Accurately conduct location counts
- Maintain productivity rate of 95% or higher
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comply with OSHA standards and facility safety rules
